Garden State Puja Committee (GSPC) is a registered, not-for-profit community organization. It is organized exclusively for the promotion of charitable, cultural and educational activities.
Background of GSPC
GSPC was formed in 1980 by some enthusiastic and energetic Bengalees, then settled in and around Jersey City, NJ, with the objective of preserving the heritage of India & Bengal.
One of the oldest and possibly greatest Durga Pujas in New Jersey in terms of cuisine and “Gharoa Puja” vibe. Their annual local productions and lineup of international artists are equally amazing at GSPC. Since it’s in Jersey City, there’s great public transportation from both NJ and NY.
